How will my child be taught remotely?

We use a combination of the following approaches to deliver remote education:

 

For year Y1 -Y6:

• Live teaching (online lessons)

• Pre-recorded lessons using Microsoft Teams.

• Links to Oak National Academy lessons where these match what we are teaching in school.

• Printed paper packs produced by teachers (e.g. workbooks, worksheets)

• Reading books pupils have at home / Access to Epic Reading

• Commercially available websites supporting the teaching of specific subjects or areas, including video clips or sequences eg: BBC Bitesize.

For Nursery and Reception:

• Pre-recorded and Live teaching of phonics and small group work.

• Information for parents to support learning at home, including information on Microsoft Teams and Class Facebook pages.
