Throughout this unit of work, Year 5 look closely at the different aspects of WWI spanning from it's unfortunate catalyst to the fact society had changed irreversibly by the end of the War.
Key areas they look at are:
- Society's unrest
- Key reasons for war
- Final tipping points
- Life in the trenches
- Women's role in the war
- Children's roles within war
- How society had changed by the end of the war
