Throughout this unit of work, the children learnt all about The Great Fire of London.

The unit consisted of :

• Noticing differences between London in 1666 and London now
• Learning the chronology of The Great Fire of London
• Understanding the reasons behind the fire and why it spread so easily
• Understanding how we learn about the past (sources of evidence)
• Changes that were made after the Great Fire
