Remote Learning

 

In light of the current situation, it is a legal requirement that all schools provide children with a platform for learning at home in the event that they are sent home due to an incident of COVID-19. To ensure that we can continue to provide effective teaching in the event of a bubble closure or school closure, we have implemented the use of Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams will act as a virtual classroom where teachers will provide elements of ‘Live Teaching’ in which they will set work for children to complete at home. It also allows teachers to provide vital feedback on work to challenge and extend children’s learning at all levels. All children in the event of a bubble closure or school closure, will receive the necessary codes. 

We will also be making use of our other school learning platforms, including: My Maths, Purple Mash and TT Rockstars, as we want to ensure that their education at home is creative, engaging and exciting.
