Packing List

Bath Towel

Toilet bag containing: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, flannel, hairbrush, shampoo

Nightclothes

Socks and underwear, please pack extra because children will get very wet.

1pair of shorts

Activity clothes (old & no problem getting muddy- should include long sleeved shirt/t-shirt suitable trousers)

Warm clothing for activities, e.g. jumper

Old trainers for activities

Trainers for clean wear

Slippers

Large plastic bag for dirty clothes

Coat hanger the type you can hand trousers on, (labelled with a name) to hang up wet clothes in the drying room

5 T-shirts, (at least one with long-sleeves you are not allowed on some activities with bare arms)

Waterproof clothing, out door coat it may be wet and cold. (Jacket and/or trousers)

Water bottle (sports type only)

Pen, pencil and  paper

Book

Please do not send any expensive, designer clothing; the children will get very dirty and muddy

 

Please note

·        Please make sure all item are labelled with your child’s full name.

·        Ensure your child can carry his/her bag.

·        Cameras can be taken but:-

o       No electronic games

o       No personal stereos , ipods or mp3 players

o       No mobiles

o       No aerosols, perfume or aftershave

o       No expensive or much cherished jewellery, clothing, shoes or cameras

(If any banned items mentioned above are found, we will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to them. They will be confiscated until the end of the trip.)

 

Emergency Contacts

The school has emergency contact numbers for the party on a mobile phone and through Kingswood Peak Venture . If you need to contact the party please contact school on 01709 887750 or Kingswood Peak Venture on 01226 762285 where a message can be sent to the group leader.

 

Emergency Procedures

In case of emergency medical treatment a local doctor or hospital A & E department will be used. Action will be taken first then parents and Mrs Chalkley informed as soon as possible.

 

We will be carrying forms which have contact numbers for each child and detail any medical conditions which we need to know about. These forms must be filled in by the parent or guardian of each child prior to the visit.

If a form is not filled in the child concerned will not be allowed to go.

 

Medicines

Any medicines your child needs to take while on the trip must be given to Mrs Young on the Monday morning. Medicines must be labelled with:

  • Your child’s name

  • The dosage

  • When the medicine is to be administered
