The National Numeracy strategy is covered at Lacewood in a daily session.  The work is rigorous and presented in with structured approach, encouraging much mental maths in the first part of the lesson.  The programme follows the national framework for each year group as required. We encourage children to use maths skills in other lessons and have a range of computer programmes that help children’s understanding and encourage them to sharpen their skills.
