Through its work Lacewood will
continue to demonstrate its commitment to work towards the
Leading Parent Partnership Award.

Lacewood will use the Leading
Parent Partnership Audit to think about its current work with
parents.

We will work together to make
plans to add to our current parent partnership .

Our teaching and learning policy
outlines our belief in lifelong learning and that is why we
provide and give information about opportunities for all
learners, including adults. (Adult Numeracy every Wednesday AM /
PM, Parent workshop sessions)

Lacewood
holds and actively promotes enrichment opportunities or events
for joint parent child participation.
(Rhyme
Time/Radiowaves/Phonics)

We try to
make Lacewood a welcoming and friendly place for children,
parents and all our visitors.
All our
new parents have a tour of the school and time to both ask
questions and find out about Lacewood.
Guidance
and information on how to help your child is available and
sessions like Rhyme time and phonics workshops are planned.

Lacewood
is working hard to make our key policies clear and updates
changes on the Lacewood Link Newsletter.
For
children leaving our school we work closely with
secondary
schools to ensure a smooth change to a new place of learning.

For
children moving through school we provide opportunities for
children to meet their new teachers and this year tried a story
and home time session so parents / carers could meet their
child’s new teacher.
