Themes we are learning about this year.

Class Literacy Target: I can describe simple settings and characters and use pictures and note describing words. I can use a dictionary or word bank to choose some more interesting describing words. I can think about what I have read and use what I know about stories and non-fiction to say what I think will happen next with reasons for my ideas.

Class Maths Target:

I can use marked number lines and empty number lines to record subtraction calculations by counting on and counting backwards to solve a calculation.

I can record subtraction calculations by counting on from smaller numbers to the larger number TU-TU,HTU-TU.

I can record subtraction calculations by complementary addition (counting on) on a empty number line (extending to decomposition if appropriate) HTU-TU,HTU-HTU.

Class resolution: Be Kind, helpful and courteous to others in the playground.
