Under the terms of the Education (No2) Act, 1986 the composition of the
governing body for Lacewood is 5 parent representatives; 4 L.E.A.
representatives; 2 teacher representatives (excluding Headteacher) and one
non-teaching staff representative, 4 co-opted governors (to represent the
local community of Lacewood). This composition reflects the number of
children at Lacewood, i.e. between 100 and 299 in full time education.
Governors are appointed for
a 4 year term of office and will meet at least
once a school term.
